The Conard Red Wolves basketball team (West Hartford, CT), was nudged 51-45 in Monday's league battle with the host Farmington River Hawks (Farmington, CT)
The River Hawks now possess a 11-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Northwest Catholic for a Central Connecticut - West Colonial battle on Thursday, February 9. Farmington will confront a Lions team coming off a 77-34 non-league win over Simsbury (Simsbury, CT). The Lions record now stands at 14-1.
The Red Wolves (9-6) will now prepare for their battle against Simsbury (Simsbury, CT). The Trojans come into the non-league battle with a 7-8 record. In their last battle, Simsbury edged Harding (Bridgeport, CT), 44-33, in a non-league battle.
