Sherman Huskies (Moro, OR) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Country Christian Cougars (Molalla, OR), 42-39 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Sherman upgrades its record to 15-13 on the season. The Huskies host Amity (Amity, OR) to clash with the Warriors in a 3A PacWest bout on Tuesday, February 7. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 10-9.

Next up, the Cougars clash with the Southwest Christian Wildcats (Beaverton, OR) in a 1A Valley 10 bout, on Thursday, February 9. Country Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 16-6 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 5-14 record after their 79-42 league loss to Open Door Christian Academy (Troutdale, OR).
