In Monday's league outing, the Metcalfe County Hornets (Edmonton, KY) basketball squad beat the host Cumberland County Panthers (Burkesville, KY), by a count of 77-65.
The Hornets (9-14) will now prepare for their outing against Hart County (Munfordville, KY). The Raiders go into the non-league outing with a 9-9 record.
The Panthers now hold a 6-13 record. They play next when they travel to Casey County for a non-league outing on Tuesday, February 7. Cumberland County will clash with a Rebels squad coming off a 91-84 non-league win over Garrard County (Lancaster, KY). The Rebels record now stands at 8-11.
