East Hartford Hornets (East Hartford, CT) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Tolland Eagles (Tolland, CT), 82-51 in a non-league bout.

With the win, East Hartford upgrades its record to 4-8 on the season. The Hornets travel to Cheney RVT (Manchester, CT) to play the Beavers in a non-league bout on Wednesday, February 8. The Beavers go into the bout with a record of 11-6. Cheney RVT won 93-72 in their recent non-league bout against Norwich RVT (Norwich, CT)

Next up, the Eagles play the Somers Spartans (Somers, CT) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 7. Tolland will attempt to upgrade on its 1-11 season record. The Spartans go into the bout with a 11-6 record after their 57-44 league loss to Sports & Medical Sciences Academy (Hartford, CT).
