Virginia High School Basketball - Fluvanna County topped by Western Albemarle

The Western Albemarle Warriors basketball team scored 80 points and restricted the visiting Fluvanna County Flying Flucos to 63 in the Warriors league victory on Monday.
The Warriors now sport a 18-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Goochland for a Jefferson contest on Wednesday, February 8. Western Albemarle will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 62-60 league loss to Monticello (Charlottesville, VA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-19.
The Flying Flucos (15-6) will now prepare for their contest against Monticello (Charlottesville, VA). The Mustangs come into the Jefferson contest with a 6-15 record. In their last contest, Monticello prevailed over Goochland (Goochland, VA), 62-60, in a league contest.
