Franklin Tornadoes (Franklin, NH) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Mount Royal Academy Knights (Sunapee, NH), 35-29 in a league bout.

With the win, Franklin upgrades its record to 5-7 on the season. The Tornadoes travel to Farmington (Farmington, NH) to clash with the Tigers in a Division IV bout on Wednesday, February 8. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 14-2. Farmington won 73-54 in their recent league bout against Nute (Milton, NH)

Next up, the Knights clash with the Hinsdale Pacers (Hinsdale, NH) in a Division IV bout, on Wednesday, February 8. Mount Royal Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 0-8 season record. The Pacers go into the bout with a 5-3 record after their 55-45 non-league loss to Mascenic Regional (New Ipswich, NH).
