Las Cruces Bulldawgs (Las Cruces, NM) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Gadsden Panthers (Anthony, NM), 70-34 in a league bout.

With the win, Las Cruces upgrades its record to 13-9 on the season. The Bulldawgs host Organ Mountain (Las Cruces, NM) to play the Knights in a 5A District 3 bout on Thursday, February 9. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 18-4. Organ Mountain lost 63-52 in their recent league bout against Alamogordo (Alamogordo, NM)

Next up, the Panthers play the Centennial Hawks (Las Cruces, NM) in a 5A District 3 bout, on Thursday, February 9. Gadsden will attempt to upgrade on its 4-18 season record. The Hawks go into the bout with a 10-13 record after their 62-61 league win over Mayfield (Las Cruces, NM).
