The Riverwalk Academy Lions basketball team (Rock Hill, SC), was overwhelmed 67-27 in Monday's league battle with the host Governor's School for Science & Math Eagles (Hartsville, SC)

The Eagles now possess a 4-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host McBee for a A Region 3 battle on Friday, February 10. Governor's School for Science & Math will confront a Panthers team coming off a 57-54 league loss to C.A. Johnson (Columbia, SC). The Panthers record now stands at 6-16.

The Lions (0-14) will now prepare for their battle against Lewisville (Richburg, SC). The Lions come into the A Region 3 battle with a 5-16 record. In their last battle, Lewisville was overwhelmed by Great Falls (Great Falls, SC), 69-39, in a league battle.
