The Liberty Minutemen basketball team (Bedford, VA), was routed 67-35 in Monday's league battle with the visiting Heritage Pioneers (Lynchburg, VA)
The Pioneers now sport a 10-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to George Washington for a non-league battle on Wednesday, February 8. Heritage will battle a Eagles team coming off a 57-55 league loss to Bassett (Bassett, VA). The Eagles record now stands at 14-8.
The Minutemen (2-15) will now prepare for their battle against Jefferson Forest (Forest, VA). The Cavaliers come into the Seminole battle with a 15-4 record. In their last battle, Jefferson Forest trounced Rustburg (Rustburg, VA), 68-45, in a league battle.
