The Highland Park Owls (Highland Park, NJ) basketball felled the visiting Perth Amboy Vo-Tech Patriots (Perth Amboy, NJ), 58-40 in Monday's non-league test.
The Owls (10-3) will now prepare for their test against Triton (Runnemede, NJ). The Mustangs go into the non-league test with a 11-7 record. In their last test, Triton thwarted Bridgeton (Bridgeton, NJ), 87-60, in a non-league test.
The Patriots now own a 0-12 record. They play next when they travel to Calvary Christian for a Greater Middlesex - Gold test on Monday, February 6. Perth Amboy Vo-Tech will encounter a Lions squad coming off a 66-45 non-league loss to Woodbridge (Woodbridge, NJ). The Lions record now stands at 12-3.
