Middletown Mustangs (Middletown, CA) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Roseland University Prep Knights (Santa Rosa, CA), 55-51 in a league bout.

With the victory, Middletown upgrades its record to 11-12 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Willits (Willits, CA) to play the Wolverines in a North Central I bout on Tuesday, February 7. The Wolverines come into the bout with a record of 1-16. Willits lost 57-42 in their recent league bout against St. Helena (St. Helena, CA)

Next up, the Knights play the St. Helena Saints (St. Helena, CA) in a North Central I bout, on Tuesday, February 7. Roseland University Prep will attempt to upgrade on its 1-19 season record. The Saints come into the battle with a 14-10 record after their 57-42 league win over Willits (Willits, CA).
