The Montevideo Thunderhawks basketball team scored 66 points and held the visiting New London-Spicer Wildcats to 49 in the Thunderhawks league triumph on Monday.

The Thunderhawks now sport a 9-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host B O L D for a non-league contest on Thursday, February 9. Montevideo will play a Warriors squad coming off a 85-62 league win over Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop (Winthrop, MN). The Warriors record now stands at 14-5.

Next up, the Wildcats play the Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted Lakers (Howard Lake, MN) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 7. New London-Spicer will attempt to upgrade on its 7-9 season record.
