In Monday's non-league outing, the Monument Mountain Spartans (Great Barrington, MA) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Palmer Panthers (Palmer, MA), by a margin of 80-47.
The Spartans (13-2) will now prepare for their outing against South Hadley (South Hadley, MA). The Tigers go into the non-league outing with a 11-5 record. In their last outing, South Hadley was trounced by Wahconah Regional (Dalton, MA), 60-28, in a non-league outing.
The Panthers now own a 0-13 record. They play next when they travel to Southwick-Tolland for a non-league outing on Wednesday, February 8. Palmer will clash with a Rams squad coming off a 66-44 non-league loss to Belchertown (Belchertown, MA). The Rams record now stands at 8-6.
