The Moorhead Spuds basketball team scored 83 points and held the host Sartell-St. Stephen Sabres to 54 in the Spuds league triumph on Monday.
The Spuds now sport a 14-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton for a non-league contest on Friday, February 10. Moorhead will meet a Rebels team coming off a 59-46 league win over Pelican Rapids (Pelican Rapids, MN). The Rebels record now stands at 16-4.
The Sabres (4-14) will now prepare for their contest against Willmar (Willmar, MN). The Cardinals enter the non-league contest with a 6-11 record. In their last contest, Willmar triumphed over Monticello (Monticello, MN), 67-51, in a non-league contest.
