North Fayette Valley (West Union, IA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Oelwein Huskies (Oelwein, IA), 64-52 in a non-league bout.

With the win, North Fayette Valley upgrades its record to 12-7 on the season. The host West Central (Maynard, IA) to clash with the Blue Devils in a Upper Iowa bout on Tuesday, February 7. The Blue Devils go into the bout with a record of 1-14. West Central lost 67-46 in their recent league bout against Clayton-Ridge (Guttenburg, IA)

Next up, the Huskies clash with the New Hampton Chickasaws (New Hampton, IA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 10. Oelwein will attempt to upgrade on its 8-11 season record. The Chickasaws go into the bout with a 8-12 record after their 76-45 league loss to Crestwood (Cresco, IA).
