Spruce Timberwolves (Dallas, TX) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Seagoville Dragons (Dallas, TX), 60-35 in a league bout.

With the win, Spruce upgrades its record to 16-12 on the season. The Timberwolves travel to North Mesquite (Mesquite, TX) to clash with the Stallions in a 5A Region II District 12 bout on Tuesday, February 7. The Stallions go into the bout with a record of 18-12. North Mesquite won 40-36 in their recent league bout against West Mesquite (Mesquite, TX)

Next up, the Dragons clash with the Conrad Chargers (Dallas, TX) in a 5A Region II District 12 bout, on Tuesday, February 7. Seagoville will attempt to upgrade on its 7-17 season record. The Chargers go into the bout with a 3-22 record after their 59-25 league loss to Poteet (Mesquite, TX).
