The Wellsville Tigers basketball team scored 67 points and restricted the visiting Valley Christian Eagles to 42 in the Tigers league victory on Monday.
The Tigers now sport a 13-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Catholic Central for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 7. Wellsville will battle a Crusaders team coming off a 49-43 non-league loss to Edison (Richmond, OH). The Crusaders record now stands at 9-10.
The Eagles (9-7) will now prepare for their contest against Heartland Christian (Columbiana, OH). The Lions come into the non-league contest with a 11-7 record. In their last contest, Heartland Christian was routed by Salem (Salem, OH), 61-59, in a non-league contest.
