The Tigers now possess a 11-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mio-Au Sable for a Freelance battle on Thursday, February 9. Alcona will battle a Thunderbolts team coming off a 53-16 non-league loss to Rogers City (Rogers City, MI). The Thunderbolts record now stands at 4-12.

The Owls (11-5) will now prepare for their battle against Michigan Lutheran Seminary (Saginaw, MI). The Cardinals come into the non-league battle with a 9-7 record. In their last battle, Michigan Lutheran Seminary was nudged by Millington (Millington, MI), 42-36, in a league battle.
