In Monday's league outing, the Aubrey Chaparrals (Aubrey, TX) basketball squad beat the visiting Celina Bobcats (Celina, TX), by a count of 47-37.

The Chaparrals (12-18) will now prepare for their outing against Ranchview (Irving, TX). The Wolves go into the 4A Region II District 11 outing with a 6-25 record. In their last outing, Ranchview was topped by Van Alstyne (Van Alstyne, TX), 60-30, in a league outing.

The Bobcats now hold a 7-18 record. They play next when they travel to Panther Creek for a 4A Region II District 11 outing on Tuesday, February 7. Celina will clash with a Panthers squad coming off a 65-62 league loss to Anna (Anna, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 20-12.
