The West Liberty Comets (West Liberty, IA) basketball nipped the host Benton Bobcats (Van Horne, IA), 64-57 in Monday's non-league test.
The Comets (11-5) will now prepare for their test against Regina (Iowa City, IA). The Regals go into the River Valley - South test with a 17-3 record. In their last test, Regina got by Mid-Prairie (Wellman, IA), 75-60, in a league test.
