Tennessee High School Basketball - Hixson ripped by Brainerd

The Brainerd Panthers basketball team scored 43 points and held the visiting Hixson Wildcats to 17 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Monday.
The Panthers now sport a 6-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Marion County for a 2A District 4 contest on Tuesday, February 7. Brainerd will battle a Warriors team coming off a 51-39 non-league loss to Whitwell (Whitwell, TN). The Warriors record now stands at 5-11.
The Wildcats (1-7) will now prepare for their contest against Brainerd (Chattanooga, TN). The Panthers enter the non-league contest with a 6-14 record. In their last contest, Brainerd was routed by Marion County (Jasper, TN), 49-36, in a league contest.
