In Monday's league outing, the Mt. Vernon Rams (Mt. Vernon, IL) basketball squad edged the host Cahokia Comanches (Cahokia, IL), by a margin of 2-0.
The Rams (23-6) will now prepare for their outing against Centralia (Centralia, IL). The Orphans go into the South Seven outing with a 4-20 record. In their last outing, Centralia was tipped by Richland County (Olney, IL), 38-30, in a non-league outing.
The Comanches now own a 5-13 record. They play next when they travel to Carbondale for a South Seven outing on Tuesday, February 7. Cahokia will clash with a Terriers squad coming off a 37-27 league loss to Marion (Marion, IL). The Terriers record now stands at 9-19.
