Illinois High School Basketball - Cobden ripped by Cairo

The Cairo Pilots basketball team scored 65 points and held the host Cobden Appleknockers to 29 in the Pilots non-league triumph on Monday.
The Pilots now sport a 6-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mayfield for a non-league contest on Friday, February 10.
The Appleknockers (7-16) will now prepare for their contest against Pope County (Golconda, IL). The Pirates enter the non-league contest with a 20-6 record. In their last contest, Pope County triumphed over Gallatin County (Junction, IL), 58-52, in a non-league contest.
