In Monday's non-league match, the host Forestview Jaguars basketball team scored a decisive 57-30 triumph over the Chase Trojans.

In their next game, the Jaguars meet the Crest Chargers (Shelby, NC) in a 3A Conference 50 match, on Tuesday, February 7. Forestview will attempt to move on its 9-13 season record. The Chargers enter the match with a 10-11 record after their 65-19 league win over North Gaston (Dallas, NC).

With the defeat, Chase moves to 3-18 on the year. The Trojans host Patton (Morganton, NC) to meet the Panthers in a 2A Conference 41 match on Tuesday, February 7. The Panthers enter the match with a record of 3-18. Patton lost 62-42 in their recent league match against Brevard (Brevard, NC)
