The Washburn Beavers basketball team (Washburn, ME), was overwhelmed 60-29 in Monday's league battle with the host East Grand Vikings (Dansforth, ME)
The Vikings now possess a 10-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Van Buren for a D North battle on Tuesday, February 7. East Grand will confront a Crusaders team coming off a 48-26 non-league loss to Madawaska (Madawaska, ME). The Crusaders record now stands at 0-16.
The Beavers (3-13) will now prepare for their battle against Wisdom (St. Agatha, ME). The Pioneers come into the D North battle with a 16-0 record. In their last battle, Wisdom trounced Madawaska (Madawaska, ME), 71-29, in a non-league battle.
