Patterson Tigers (Patterson, CA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting El Capitan Gauchos (Merced, CA), 46-41 in a league bout.

With the win, Patterson upgrades its record to 18-7 on the season. The Tigers travel to Golden Valley (Merced, CA) to play the Cougars in a Central California Conference bout on Tuesday, February 7. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 13-13. Golden Valley won 54-17 in their recent league bout against Central Valley (Ceres, CA)

Next up, the Gauchos play the Central Valley Hawks (Ceres, CA) in a Central California Conference bout, on Tuesday, February 7. El Capitan will attempt to upgrade on its 20-6 season record. The Hawks go into the bout with a 1-22 record after their 54-17 league loss to Golden Valley (Merced, CA).
