Virginia High School Basketball - Monticello edges Goochland

The Monticello Mustangs (Charlottesville, VA) basketball nipped the visiting Goochland Bulldogs (Goochland, VA), 2-0 in Monday's league test.
The Mustangs (5-16) will now prepare for their test against Fluvanna County (Palmyra, VA). The Flying Flucos go into the Jefferson test with a 14-7 record. In their last test, Fluvanna County was tipped by Western Albemarle (Crozet, VA), 55-37, in a league test.
The Bulldogs now own a 0-17 record. They play next when they travel to Western Albemarle for a Jefferson test on Wednesday, February 8. Goochland will encounter a Warriors squad coming off a 55-37 league win over Fluvanna County (Palmyra, VA). The Warriors record now stands at 14-6.
