The Highland Cardinals basketball team scored 56 points and held the visiting Southwestern Wildcats to 41 in the Cardinals non-league triumph on Monday.
The Cardinals now sport a 10-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Richland Center for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 14.
The Wildcats (2-16) will now prepare for their contest against Darlington (Darlington, WI). The Redbirds enter the Southwest Wisconsin Activities contest with a 12-8 record. In their last contest, Darlington ran past Iowa-Grant (Livingston, WI), 69-35, in a league contest.
