Morris County Tech Devils (Denville, NJ) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Hopatcong Chiefs (Hopatcong, NJ), 67-19 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Morris County Tech upgrades its record to 16-1 on the campaign. The Devils host Newton (Newton, NJ) to play the Braves in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 7. The Braves come into the bout with a record of 8-8. Newton lost 41-34 in their recent non-league bout against Mount Olive (Flanders, NJ)

Next up, the Chiefs play the Vernon Vikings (Vernon, NJ) in a Northwest Jersey - Colonial bout, on Tuesday, February 7. Hopatcong will attempt to upgrade on its 2-14 season record.
