In Monday's league outing, the Sweet Home Panthers (Amherst, NY) basketball squad nipped the host Iroquois Chiefs (Elma, NY), by a margin of 63-61.
The Panthers (11-6) will now prepare for their outing against Depew (Depew, NY). The Wildcats go into the non-league outing with a 15-1 record. In their last outing, Depew got by Pioneer (Yorkshire, NY), 61-26, in a league outing.
The Chiefs now own a 9-9 record. They play next when they host West Seneca East for a Section 6 Erie County II outing on Wednesday, February 8. Iroquois will encounter a Trojans squad coming off a 77-26 league loss to Hamburg (Hamburg, NY). The Trojans record now stands at 1-16.
