North Carolina High School Basketball - NorthPoint Christian Academy nipped by Jackson Day

In Monday's non-league match, the host Jackson Day Mariners basketball team scored a tight 46-44 triumph over the NorthPoint Christian Academy NightHawks.

In their next game, the Mariners face the Liberty Preparatory Christian Patriots (Mooresville, NC) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, February 7. Jackson Day will attempt to move on its 10-8 season record. The Patriots enter the match with a 17-3 record after their 71-48 non-league win over SouthLake Christian Academy (Huntersville, NC).
