North Moore Mustangs (Robbins, NC) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Jordan-Matthews Jets (Siler City, NC), 55-28 in a league bout.
With the win, North Moore upgrades its record to 6-11 on the season. The Mustangs host Cummings (Burlington, NC) to play the Cavaliers in a 1A/2A Conference 14 bout on Tuesday, February 7. The Cavaliers go into the bout with a record of 5-12. Cummings lost 59-27 in their recent league bout against Bartlett Yancey (Yanceyville, NC)
Next up, the Jets play the Lee County Yellow Jackets (Sanford, NC) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, February 8. Jordan-Matthews will attempt to upgrade on its 0-20 season record. The Yellow Jackets go into the bout with a 12-7 record after their 61-41 league loss to Scotland (Laurinburg, NC).
