The La Crescent Lancers basketball team scored 61 points and restricted the visiting Lewiston-Altura Cardinals to 55 in the Lancers league victory on Monday.

The Lancers now sport a 11-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cotter/Hope Lutheran for a AA Section 1 contest on Thursday, February 9. La Crescent will battle a team coming off a 63-42 league loss to Goodhue (Goodhue, MN). The record now stands at 11-6.

The Cardinals (5-14) will now prepare for their contest against Lanesboro (Lanesboro, MN). The Burros come into the non-league contest with a 14-5 record. In their last contest, Lanesboro edged Mabel-Canton (Mabel, MN), 55-35, in a league contest.
