Fans at Monday's league challenge between the Lakeville North Panthers (Lakeville, MN) and the host Lakeville South Cougars (Lakeville, MN), saw Lakeville North's basketball squad hold off Lakeville South by a tally of 62-55.

With the victory, Lakeville North improves its record to 15-5 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Farmington (Farmington, MN) to play the Tigers in a AAAA Section 1 challenge on Friday, February 10. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 5-15. Farmington lost 71-65 in their recent non-league challenge against Burnsville (Burnsville, MN)

Next up, the Cougars play the Apple Valley Eagles (Apple Valley, MN) in a AAAA Section 3 challenge, on Friday, February 10. Lakeville South will attempt to improve on its 15-7 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 1-19 record after their 57-11 league loss to Prior Lake (Prior Lake, MN).
