Illinois High School Basketball - Lawrenceville tops Red Hill

February 6, 2023: Lawrenceville, IL 62439

Lawrenceville Indians (Lawrenceville, IL) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Red Hill Salukis (Bridgeport, IL), 49-33 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Lawrenceville upgrades its record to 4-21 on the campaign. The Indians travel to North Clay/Clay City (Louisville, IL) to play the in a non-league bout on Wednesday, February 8. The come into the bout with a record of 17-9. North Clay/Clay City won 65-55 in their recent non-league bout against Robinson (Robinson, IL)

Next up, the Salukis play the Martinsville Bluestreaks (Martinsville, IL) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 9. Red Hill will attempt to upgrade on its 3-25 season record. The Bluestreaks come into the bout with a 0-24 record after their 56-33 league loss to Palestine (Palestine, IL).
