Rochester Rams (Rochester, PA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting New Brighton Lions (New Brighton, PA), 59-19 in a league bout.

With the win, Rochester upgrades its record to 5-13 on the season.

Next up, the Lions clash with the Freedom Area Bulldogs (Freedom, PA) in a WPIAL 2A 1 challenge, on Thursday, February 9. New Brighton will attempt to improve on its 0-16 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 15-4 record after their 73-42 league win over Aliquippa (Aliquippa, PA).
