The Waterloo Indians (Waterloo, NY) basketball crushed the visiting Newark Reds (Newark, NY), 74-33 in Friday's league test.
The Indians (12-1) will now prepare for their test against Mynderse Academy (Seneca Falls, NY). The Blue Devils go into the Section 5 Finger Lakes - East test with a 7-4 record. In their last test, Mynderse Academy walloped Geneva (Geneva, NY), 79-21, in a league test.
The Reds now own a 4-6 record. They play next when they travel to Midlakes for a Section 5 Finger Lakes - East test on Wednesday, February 8. Newark will encounter a Screaming Eagles squad coming off a 59-20 non-league win over Rochester Academy (Rochester, NY). The Screaming Eagles record now stands at 8-6.
