North Fayette Valley (West Union, IA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Oelwein Huskies (Oelwein, IA), 51-48 in a non-league bout.

With the win, North Fayette Valley upgrades its record to 13-7 on the season. The host West Central (Maynard, IA) to play the Blue Devils in a Upper Iowa bout on Tuesday, February 7. The Blue Devils go into the bout with a record of 6-14. West Central lost 54-17 in their recent league bout against Clayton-Ridge (Guttenburg, IA)
