Norwin Knights (North Huntingdon, PA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Pine-Richland Rams (Gibsonia, PA), 62-29 in a league bout.

With the win, Norwin upgrades its record to 18-3 on the season. The Knights travel to Seneca Valley (Harmony, PA) to clash with the Raiders in a WPIAL 6A 1 bout on Thursday, February 9. The Raiders go into the bout with a record of 5-12. Seneca Valley lost 48-34 in their recent league bout against North Allegheny (Wexford, PA)

Next up, the Rams clash with the Butler Golden Tornado (Butler, PA) in a WPIAL 6A 1 bout, on Thursday, February 9. Pine-Richland will attempt to upgrade on its 9-9 season record. The Golden Tornado go into the bout with a 10-9 record after their 59-49 league loss to Hempfield Area (Greensburg, PA).
