The St. Mary's Crusaders basketball team scored 47 points and held the visiting Rogue River Chieftains to 25 in the Crusaders league triumph on Monday.

The Crusaders now sport a 4-16 record. They put it on the line next when they host Brookings-Harbor for a 3A Far West contest on Wednesday, February 8. St. Mary's will battle a Bruins team coming off a 37-28 league loss to Lakeview (Lakeview, OR). The Bruins record now stands at 13-9.

The Chieftains (1-20) will now prepare for their contest against North Valley (Grants Pass, OR). The Knights enter the 3A Far West contest with a 5-17 record. In their last contest, North Valley was routed by Cascade Christian (Medford, OR), 61-48, in a league contest.
