Charlottesville Black Knights (Charlottesville, VA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Orange County Fighting Hornets (Orange, VA), 48-44 in a league bout.

With the win, Charlottesville upgrades its record to 14-3 on the season. The Black Knights travel to Louisa County (Mineral, VA) to play the Lions in a non-league bout on Wednesday, February 8. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 5-11. Louisa County lost 28-26 in their recent non-league bout against Albemarle (Charlottesville, VA)

Next up, the Fighting Hornets play the Albemarle Patriots (Charlottesville, VA) in a bout, on Wednesday, February 8. Orange County will attempt to upgrade on its 15-3 season record. The Patriots go into the bout with a 10-6 record after their 28-26 non-league win over Louisa County (Mineral, VA).
