Albemarle Patriots (Charlottesville, VA) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Louisa County Lions (Mineral, VA), 73-45 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Albemarle upgrades its record to 17-0 on the campaign. The Patriots host Orange County (Orange, VA) to play the Fighting Hornets in a non-league bout on Wednesday, February 8. The Fighting Hornets come into the bout with a record of 7-7.

Next up, the Lions play the Charlottesville Black Knights (Charlottesville, VA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, February 8. Louisa County will attempt to upgrade on its 4-15 season record.
