Virginia High School Basketball - Liberty overwhelmed by Heritage

The Heritage Pioneers basketball team scored 41 points and restricted the host Liberty Minutemen to 17 in the Pioneers non-league victory on Monday.
The Pioneers now sport a 8-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to George Washington for a non-league contest on Wednesday, February 8. Heritage will battle a Eagles team coming off a 64-55 non-league win over Bassett (Bassett, VA). The Eagles record now stands at 13-3.
The Minutemen (1-14) will now prepare for their contest against Jefferson Forest (Forest, VA). The Cavaliers come into the non-league contest with a 8-10 record. In their last contest, Jefferson Forest was routed by Rustburg (Rustburg, VA), 50-45, in a non-league contest.
