The Washington-Liberty Generals basketball team scored 68 points and held the visiting McLean Highlanders to 40 in the Generals non-league triumph on Monday.

The Generals now sport a 13-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wakefield for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 7. Washington-Liberty will meet a Fighting Owls team coming off a 45-38 league win over Mt. Carmel Christian Academy (Luray, VA). The Fighting Owls record now stands at 1-0.

The Highlanders (1-5) will now prepare for their contest against Herndon (Herndon, VA). The Hornets enter the non-league contest with a 0-5 record. In their last contest, Herndon was routed by George C. Marshall (Falls Church, VA), 40-33, in a non-league contest.
