New Mexico High School Basketball - Albuquerque can't hold off Los Lunas

The Los Lunas Tigers basketball team scored 46 points and held the visiting Albuquerque Bulldogs to 43 in the Tigers league triumph on Tuesday.

The Tigers now sport a 14-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Manzano for a 5A District 5 contest on Saturday, February 10. Los Lunas will battle a Monarchs team coming off a 64-62 league loss to Capital (Santa Fe, NM). The Monarchs record now stands at 5-15.

The Bulldogs (14-7) will now prepare for their contest against Santa Fe (Santa Fe, NM). The Demons enter the 5A District 5 contest with a 16-5 record. In their last contest, Santa Fe nudged Rio Grande (Albuquerque, NM), 58-47, in a league contest.
