In Tuesday's league outing, the American Fork Cavemen (American Fork, UT) basketball squad nipped the host Pleasant Grove Vikings (Pleasant Grove, UT), by a margin of 67-61.
The Cavemen (12-8) will now prepare for their outing against Lone Peak (Highland, UT). The Knights go into the 6A Region 3 outing with a 10-9 record. In their last outing, Lone Peak was tipped by Skyridge (Lehi, UT), 56-49, in a league outing.
The Vikings now own a 11-9 record. They play next when they travel to Westlake for a 6A Region 3 outing on Friday, February 9. Pleasant Grove will clash with a Thunder squad coming off a 85-64 league loss to Lehi (Lehi, UT). The Thunder record now stands at 5-15.
