The Anaconda Copperheads (Anaconda, MT) basketball crushed the visiting Powell County Wardens (Deer Lodge, MT), 79-44 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Copperheads (8-4) will now prepare for their test against Arlee (Arlee, MT). The go into the B District 6 test with a 12-2 record. In their last test, Arlee was trounced by Loyola-Sacred Heart (Missoula, MT), 68-58, in a league test.
The Wardens now own a 2-8 record. They play next when they travel to Loyola-Sacred Heart for a B District 6 test on Thursday, February 8. Powell County will encounter a Rams squad coming off a 70-38 league win over Florence-Carlton (Florence, MT). The Rams record now stands at 16-0.
