The Argyle Eagles basketball team scored 55 points and held the host Denton Broncos to 46 in the Eagles league triumph on Tuesday.
The Eagles now sport a 26-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lake Dallas for a 5A Region I District 7 contest on Friday, February 9. Argyle will battle a Falcons team coming off a 62-57 league loss to Birdville (North Richland Hills, TX). The Falcons record now stands at 16-12.
The Broncos (12-22) will now prepare for their contest against Richland (North Richland Hills, TX). The Royals enter the 5A Region I District 7 contest with a 4-23 record. In their last contest, Richland was defeated by Grapevine (Grapevine, TX), 71-57, in a league contest.
