Arlington Spy Ponders (Arlington, MA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Reading Memorial Rockets (Reading, MA), 61-60 in a league bout.

With the win, Arlington upgrades its record to 12-3 on the season. The Spy Ponders host Woburn Memorial (Woburn, MA) to play the Tanners in a Middlesex bout on Friday, February 9. The Tanners go into the bout with a record of 1-16. Woburn Memorial lost 59-29 in their recent league bout against Belmont (Belmont, MA)

Next up, the Rockets play the Winchester Red & Black (Winchester, MA) in a Middlesex bout, on Friday, February 9. Reading Memorial will attempt to upgrade on its 10-6 season record. The Red & Black go into the bout with a 10-6 record after their 80-61 league loss to Lexington (Lexington, MA).
