In Tuesday's league match, the host Woods Charter Wolves basketball team scored a decisive 59-32 triumph over the Ascend Leadership Aviators.
In their next game, the Wolves meet the Carolina Friends Quakers (Durham, NC) in a non-league match, on Thursday, February 8. Woods Charter will attempt to better on its 9-10 season record. The Quakers enter the match with a 4-12 record after their 66-56 non-league loss to Cresset Christian Academy (Durham, NC).
With the defeat, Ascend Leadership moves to 0-13 on the year. The Aviators host River Mill (Graham, NC) to meet the Jaguars in a 1A Central Tar Heel match on Friday, February 9. The Jaguars enter the match with a record of 11-14. River Mill lost 62-39 in their recent non-league match against Franklin Academy (Wake Forest, NC)
